One of the factors that facilitated the enthronement of evil,
kidnapping, Armed Robbery activities, 419 activities, Ritual killing
etc in Imo State between 1995 and 1996 was the involvement of then
police commissioner, DAVID ABURE.
Police commissioner David Abure was hobnobbing with the “powers that
be” between 1995 and 1996 to enthrone evil in the Imo Society, it is
on record that it was in this period that one Innocent Ekeanyanwu (who
is not innocent) was arrested for the beheading of 12years old master
Ikechukwu Okonkwo. Upon interrogation, Innocent Ekeanyanwu mentioned
the names of the then shakers of the society as his sponsors and
mastermind in his atrocious crimes.
Jolted by his exposure, the Imo Police Command led by Police
commissioner David Abure and the then Deputy superintendent of Police
(DSP) OBASI connived with “powers” that be and poisoned MR. Innocent
Ekeanyanwu to death. This conspiracy led to the infamous OTOKOTO riot
in 1996.
This particular scenario has again re-surfaced in Imo State even in a
more dangerous form. What do I mean? It is an established fact that
this writer is the fieriest critic of the fraud infested leadership of
Ikedi Ohakim. As a result I have been in court with the state
government since 2008. This development did not in any way melt down
my opinion about the fraud going on in the state as anchored on the
shoulders of Ikedi Godson Ohakim.
Nevertheless, when Police Commissioner Aloysius Okorie was posted to
Imo State as the new Police boss in April 2009, I personally wrote a
blue print on how to reduce crime and how the police should integrate
and of course re-organize themselves towards this onerous task of
curbing crimes in Imo State. This blue print was published in numerous
Newspapers and magazines in Nigeria. (see the attached Blueprint). I
also sent a copy to the Inspector General of Police Mr. Ogbonnaya
Onovo who was so impressed with the master piece that he sent me an
acknowledgement and commendation letter signed by his Principal Staff
Officer II (Murtala Mani). Not only that, the hard working Inspector
General of Police sent a copy of that blueprint to the Imo
Commissioner of police, Aloysius Okorie, ordering him to respond
to the issues I raised in my master piece.
Again it should be noted that when the criminal activities of Governor
Ikedi Ohakim became unbearable in Imo State, I personally wrote to the
commissioner of Police a letter pleading with him to grant me the
permission to stage a non-violent and peaceful demonstration against
the fraud infested leadership in Imo State. I also copied media houses
who published the letter. (See the attached letter). Of course Ikedi
Ohakim Ordered him not to grant the request but I went ahead with my
non-violent and peaceful demonstration in all the local government
areas of the State between August and September 2009.
Having succeeded in this patriotic call, I mounted pressure on the
discredited and thoroughly embarrassed State House of Assembly to set
up a probe panel that would invite me to prove all my allegation
against Governor Ikedi Ohakim. I have almost achieved results before
Ikedi Ohakim incorporated the Commissioner of Police (Aloysius Okorie)
in his satanic scheme.
Aloysius Okorie called me on phone by 3:34pm on the 19th of January
2010 being Tuesday, requesting me to see him. Both of us mutually
agreed to see on Friday 22nd of January 2010. I even called him the
next day Wednesday 20th of January 2010 by 5.30pm to reconfirm my
appointment with him on Friday 22/1/2010.
It is therefore very despicable that a sitting Governor could send
armed men to abduct me on Thursday 21/1/2010 with the Support and
encouragement of the state commissioner of police. I say this because
when I called him on phone on that faithful day between 6:34am and
6:36 am, he told me to follow the armed men. To show his direct
involvement in the plot, Mr. Aloysius Okorie equally directed me to
handover my phone to the armed men of which I refused.
At the Governor’s Office, this same Aloysius Okorie (in company of the
lady director of SSS) saw me in my own pool of blood. Rather than
caution the Governor in his barbaric act, Aloysius Okorie simply said
to me “Ikenna, look at your Governor and cooperate with him”. Also the
lady director of SSS supported him when she said to me, “My Son, just
cooperate with His Excellency”. To show his absolute involvement in
this crime of assault and abuse of a citizen, Aloysius Okorie
personally received me in his office in the presence of the State
director of SSS, when, the Chief Security Officer to the Governor
handed me over to him with blood stained clothes and wound all over my
body.
In his office, Aloysius Okorie made this statement, “Ikenna just
cooperate with His Excellency and everything will be OK”. This clearly
shows that he is another “DAVID ABURE” in police uniform. In order to
conceal this atrocious crime, I was detained with wounds all over my
body with no medical attention. It should be noted that ever since I
made public my report of what transpired in the office of the Governor
and the involvement of the police Commissioner (36 days ago) in
assaulting and dehumanizing me, Aloysius Okorie has shamelessly
refused to respond.
I therefore call on the Inspector General of Police to order the
immediate dismissal, arrest and prosecution of Aloysius Okorie for
conniving with the criminal Governor of Imo State (Ikedi Godson
Ohakim) to inflict harm on me.
ENTER THE JUDICIAL HATCHET WOMAN
Despite warnings from her elder brother who is a senior Advocate of
Nigeria and who is a personal lawyer to General Mohammadu Buhari, Mrs.
Victoria Isigugo has made herself a willing tool in the hands of Ikedi
Ohakims’ evilcratic government. Patriotic citizens who are opposed to
Ikedi Ohakims criminal activities in Imo State are always brought to
her court before being remanded in prison custody.
The case of this writer is a celebrated testimony. I was brought to
her court on the 25th of January 2010 with blood stained cloths and
wounds all over my body inflicted on me by the thieving Governor of
Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim. That is after illegally being detained at the
CIB cell for 4 days. Yet she refused my being taken to the hospital.
She refused me removing my clothes for the court to see, when my
lawyer (Barrister L. M. Alozie) requested that I do so. She refused me
explaining what happened. She insisted that I must be remanded in
prisons custody for 8 days after I had spent 4 days in the CIB cell
with my wounds. She refused to grant me bail on that 25th of January
2010 over a case of a so called “DEFAMATION”.
Although I was later granted bail on the 2nd of February 2010 and the
case adjourned till 19th of February 2010, this same judicial hatchet
woman obviously playing a script written by Ikedi Ohakim refused to
appear in court on that day.
For sure if I fail to prove my case against the thieving Governor, I
will be jailed. The question now is, what will happen to Ikedi Ohakim
if I prove my case against him? It is therefore very obvious that I
will never get justice at the courts. This is where the Imo State
House of Assembly comes in and must play a role. Let the speaker of
Imo State House of Assembly set up a probe panel that would invite me
along with my conditions.
At this point and juncture I am calling on the National Judicial
Council (NJC) to speedily look in the direction of this judicial
hatchet woman called Mrs. Victoria C. Isiguzo.
When people like Aloysius Okorie and Victoria Isiguzo are dismissed
from the Police and the Judiciary respectively, innocent people will
not unnecessarily suffer injustice in Imo State.
As a warror who has never run away from battles, I am patiently
waiting for the Imo State House of Assembly.
Mgbe Amuru Dike Na Mba Ka Amuru Ibeya.
