How Turai caused the collapse of President Umaru Yar,Adua on November 23rd 2009

New information into the collapse of the President of Nigeria on November 23rd 2009 has surfaced to point to the role played by the 1st lady, Turai Yar'Adua in triggering the degeneration of her husband's health. This is according to sources within the governing council in Abuja.

As gathered, the tightly guarded secret around the illness of Umaru Yar'Adua have gradually begun to unfold into the public arena in a manner that Turai and her operatives find uncontrollable. It was learnt that Umaru Yar'Adua's collapse came of the heels of his dissolution of the entire Federal Executive Council [FEC]. The pending dissolution of the cabinet was reported to be the result of a security report received by Yar'Adua which painted a grim picture of the Yar'Adua's administration and its non-existent programs on the grounds.

As gathered, Yar'Adua was said to have placed trusted allies in strategic positions in his administration. And he depended on them heavily to pilot the activities of his administration. Such personalities as Abba Ruma, Tanimu, his wife, Hassan Lawal and a few others were entrusted by the ailing President. And through the 2.5 years of his administration, Yar'Adua was said to be in the dark as to the true performance of his entrusted allies.

According to a security operative who spoke to Ukpakareports.com in Abuja recently, when Umaru Yar'Adua was given the comprehensive security report on the status of his administration, he did not take kindly to it. He was heart broken. He "wept" and became depressed and withdrawn. According to the source, Umaru Yar'Adua took to action and resolved to dissolve the cabinet entirely. He wanted a fresh start.

The source notes that Umaru Yar'Adua was not aware of the wide spread corruption within the administration and the nature of administrative maladies that had taken hold of his government. And when Umaru Yar'Adua informed his wife, Turai, of the move to dissolve the cabinet as a result of the maladies, Turai was said to be on the negative. She became loud and abusive. Sources believe her reaction to be the result of financial relationships with members of the cabinet - who she had assured their jobs will remain intact. The exchange between Turai and her husband was reported by the source to lead Umaru Yar'Adua into showing the security report to Turai.

The already weakened Umaru Yar'Adua [health-wise] saw the uncontrolled verbal lashing of an angry and power hungry wife. Turai was unhappy with the report. Umaru Yar'Adua, on his own, was unhappy with Turai's role in aiding fraudulent practices in his administration. And Yar'Adua expressed his disappointment with his wife. This led to a heated argument between the two. Yar'Adua was then forced to reprimand Turai to stay away from the affairs of his administration. In anger, Yar'Adua walked away.

Eleven [11] hours following the heated exchange, President Umaru Yar'Adua collapsed.

i feel even angrier with him now. what do you mean he wasnt aware of happenings in his cabinet? didnt he read nigerian dailies? they at least carried almost unanimous news on the rot in his cabinet. this simply exposes him for the weakling he is. he has no one to blame but himself.
