Soludo Vows To Take On Catholic Church For Rigging for Obi

Prof Chukwuma Soludo has vowed to take on the Catholic Church for which he is also a member for working against his governorship ambition last Saturday.

The PDP candidate while addressing his supporters at his campaign office in Awka said that most of his supporters who were Catholics could not vote for him during the election as they were threatened with sanction by the Reverend fathers of their parishes.

Soludo regretted that presiding clerics of the Catholic Church conspired to favour the APGA candidates when in actual sense they should have played the role of fathers.

According to him, “when we are ready we shall take on the Catholic church. When it gets to a time when people can not draw a line to differentiate between religion and politics, you know then that there is trouble.

“It is a dangerous trend that is capable of destroying the church. I am a catholic as well as Obi, and I see no reason why my church should decide to work against me. I will take it up with them when the time comes, because my own Catholicism is not different from that practiced by Peter Obi or other people, Soludo said”

Soludo added that he was surprised that Reverend Fathers were stationed at the various polling centers to monitor where their Catholic members will vote, while those who were bent on voting him were threatened sanctions or denial of the Holy Communion.

Investigations made by Ukpakareports showed that there was a conspiracy by the hierarchy of the Catholic Church to return Obi. It would be recalled that Obi, Soludo, Ekwunife and Ngige are all members of the catholic church, and campaigned extensively in the church soliciting for votes.

Only the most politically naive will believe that the results that annouced victory for Obi, can be confirmed by stringent audit ; in reality , Soludo lost to an intricate web of conspiracy at the highest level in his own party, woven around crass envy, personal differences and a morbid fear of his potential to turn things around for Anambra and the Igbos very fast......but most importantly his potential as a future presidential candidate in 2015.Peter Obi was just a compromise benefactor...the real position is.most apprpriately captured in this newspaper report...http://www.compassnews.net/Ng/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=40641:soludo-accepts-defeat&catid=672:top-stories&Itemid=794

Soludo is a falling and frustrated man, hence his anger against the men of God. So it is only now he is realizing that he is being treated badly. How about those that were denied the opportunity the contest the Governorship election on the PDP platform because he was imposed on by the party, as against the party’s constitution in relation to primary election for any elective position. I advice him to be a man and do exactly Dr. Andy Uba, by congratulating Governor Obi on his well deserved victory. The Anambra people have spoken.

Thanks.

Who is Soludo to fight the church.Let me beleive that he was not the person who made the statement, otherwise, he is simply fooling himself.I think time has come in Nigeria when no institution should keep silent or remain neutral in the face of evil.Soludo and his PDP are evil!

Soludo is a disgrace to himself, to his church and to his party. He should stop being childish and go home and work on his arrogance and self deception. Shame on him!
